Meet and learn from Theresa Hultberg!

ABOUT THERESA:
Theresa Hultberg is an artist from the United States with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from the University of Oklahoma. She works primarily in painting, drawing and printmaking and has created illustrative work for publication. Theresa has shown artwork in exhibitions across Oklahoma, the United States and has displayed printmaking in exchanges shown internationally in Mexico, South America and New Zealand.

Theresa is Program Manager of the Paseo Arts Association in the Paseo Arts District of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the United States and serves on leadership for the local art collective, Art Group OKC which actively supports emerging artists through studio visits, networking and event organization.
 

ABOUT THERESA’S ART:
In my work, feelings of connection, solitude and control, drive an exploration of the unknown. Through painting and printmaking, atmospheric forms and mark-making play together to create abstracted landscapes and mystic compositions. Each piece is inspired by the rhythm and sound of the landscape and an instinctual sense of unseen forces, natural or spiritual. The sensation and sound of wind is often brought into each piece as it is uncontrollable and invisible; only seen when it affects something else.
